FedEx Deliveries

Most of our wine shipments are delivered by FedEx. Legally all packages containing alcohol must be signed for by an adult who is at least 21 years old. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a FedEx tracking number via email. If no one is home to sign for the package, FedEx will update your tracking report online and attempt on the next business day. 

They will make up to three delivery attempts. Unfortunately, we can't predict the time of day that they will arrive. FedEx offers more options for delivery if you sign up for  FedEx Delivery Manager online.

At any time up to the third failed delivery attempt, FedEx can hold your package for pick up at the nearest FedEx Store or Walgreens location, free of charge. 

At this point, the package will be held for 5 business days. The recipient can then go to the chosen FedEx pick-up location with their photo ID and pick up the shipment. This request can be made online using  FedEx Delivery Manager or by calling FedEx at 1 (800) 463-3339.

If the package needs to be re-routed, FedEx does charge for this. Re-routes can only be made by a Personal Wine employee directly with FedEx. We will then add the re-route charge to your order and re-send your invoice. Re-routes must also be made within the same zip code as the original address.
